This was originally just done as a product photo for a company who was advertising on VioletLebeaux.com but the staging was just so nice that I decided to play around with it in photoshop and try to make it look a little bit older and glamorous. I guess I wanted people to wonder about the girl attached to the hand. The handle she’s holding onto is both a door and a window, so viewers could let their minds wander and imagine her looking out the window with longing or leaving somewhere for the first and last time. It’s up to them and I think that’s the fun part.
