This landscape panorama of Melbourne’s Southbank is actually made up of over 70 images all merged together and stretches out over 7000 pixels wide so it can be printed out at almost any size you’d like! It features the Crown Casino, Eureka Tower and a few other iconic Melbourne structures. It took an hour a half to shoot and a few hours to edit, but it was a labor of love! Taken in Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia “Brand New Day” is beautiful sunrise shot using an HDR technique.
Sunrise over the ocean is a very nice way to be woken up in the morning. As the hundreds of parrots squawked their morning greetings I enjoyed how peaceful the Mooloolaba landscape is before the rest of the world is awake. That lasted just long enough to snap this photo before the very unpeaceful birds brought me back to reality.
